Qualified and proven: how we prove our standards
Trade schemes and memberships are one way a tyre business can show its standards. Ours is to show you exactly what we hold and how we work – and to make every point easy to check.

Yellow Tyres isn’t a member of a tyre trade association. Membership schemes such as the NTDA’s are voluntary and do valuable work for the industry; we’ve chosen to let our qualifications, equipment and reviews speak for themselves. Here’s what that means – and how you can check each point.
Qualified
Every fitter on our team is qualified, with 15+ years’ experience. Founded by a motor mechanic with IMI-awarded NVQ Levels 2 and 3 in Motor Vehicle Maintenance and a Motor Vehicle Parts qualification.

Done to spec

Guaranteed repairs
Every mobile tyre repair comes with a 28-day guarantee: if a repair we did fails within 28 days, you only pay the difference towards a new tyre – we credit what you paid for the repair. Our fitters check every repair is sound before they leave, so it very rarely comes to that.

About the NTDA
The NTDA (National Tyre Distributors Association) is the UK trade association for tyre distributors and retailers. Its Tyre Technician Professional Development Scheme licenses tyre technicians, and since 2023 it has included a licence for mobile tyre technicians. Membership and licensing are voluntary. Whoever you choose, the checklist for booking any mobile tyre fitter is a good place to start.
