Locking wheel nuts stop thieves taking your wheels, but without the key no one can take the wheel off – so a lost or damaged key turns a simple puncture into a big problem. Our fitters carry specialist removal tools that work on most common types of locking nut. Not every type can be removed this way, which is why we ask for a photo first: if we don’t think we can remove yours, we’ll tell you before anyone sets off.

Small deposit
To confirm the booking you pay a small deposit by SumUp link (card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or American Express) or bank transfer.
Removed, then pay the balance
The fitter removes the nuts and, if you need it, repairs or replaces the tyre. The balance is paid on site once the job is done – SumUp link, bank transfer or cash.

Can you remove a locking wheel nut without the key?
Often, yes. We can remove most locking wheel nuts – around 7 in 10 types – with specialist tools. Not every type can be removed this way, so send us the make, model and a photo of the nut first and we’ll tell you honestly before we set off.
How much is locking wheel nut removal?
£100 per nut removed. The price is agreed on the phone before the van sets off.
What should I send you?
Your vehicle’s make and model, and a clear photo of the locking nut (straight on, so we can see the pattern). WhatsApp is the easiest way to send it.
What if you can’t remove my type of nut?
Around 3 in 10 locking nut types can’t be removed with our tools. If yours looks like one of them, we’ll tell you on the phone rather than sending a fitter out.
Do I need my locking wheel nut key for a tyre change?
Yes – please make sure it’s with the car. If it’s lost, tell us when you call and we’ll check whether we can remove the nuts.
Can you fit a new tyre at the same visit?
Yes. Once the wheel is off we can repair the puncture where it’s safe, or fit a new tyre. Tell us the tyre size from the tyre wall when you call.
