A Yellow Tyres-signed van turns up fully kitted – with a Snap-on tyre changer, a TIP TOP wheel balancer and a torque wrench on board – so we balance your wheels on site and tighten every wheel nut to the manufacturer’s setting, not just fit the tyre.

- The right tyre, checked first – we confirm the size from your tyre wall (for example 205/55 R16 91V) before we set off, front and rear, so the fitter brings the correct tyre
- Brand-new tyres only – budget, mid-range and premium, 13-inch to 23-inch; we don’t sell part-worn or used tyres
- Bead sealer on the rim, so the tyre seats and seals properly
- Wheel balancing on the van – every van carries a REMA TIP TOP balancing machine, so the wheel is balanced at your kerb, not just fitted
- Torque-set wheel nuts – every nut or bolt tightened with a torque wrench to the vehicle manufacturer’s setting
- Pressures checked on all your tyres before we leave (except on a hard shoulder or in busy live traffic, where we finish and leave quickly for safety)

What to have ready on the day
- Your tyre size, read from the tyre wall – registration lookups can be wrong. Not sure? Send us a photo on WhatsApp.
- Your locking wheel nut key, with the vehicle. Lost it? Tell us when you call – we can remove most types.
- Somewhere safe and legal to work – a drive, the street outside, a residents’ bay or a car park. For a private or shared car park, please check we’re allowed to work there.
- Someone with the car at the start, to confirm the job, and at the end, to pay the balance.

Do you balance on site?

Will a Yellow Tyres van turn up?

Do you fit tyres on vans and 4x4s?
Yes. We fit and repair tyres for cars, vans and 4x4s. Tell us the vehicle and tyre size when you call so the fitter brings the right tyre.
Can you come to my workplace?
Yes. We come to your home, your workplace or the roadside – wherever it is safe and legal for us to work. If you’re in a private car park, please check you have permission for work to be carried out there.
Can I book a fitting for later today or another day?
Yes. As well as emergencies, we offer same-day and booked mobile tyre fitting. Use our booking page or call us to arrange a time.
Are all your tyres brand new?
We only fit brand-new tyres; we don’t sell part-worn or used tyres. Every tyre we supply comes from Stapleton’s Tyre Services or Grouptyre.
Do new tyres come with a warranty?
We don’t offer an extended warranty on new tyres, because tyres are wear-and-tear items. A manufacturing fault normally shows up during fitting – a faulty tyre won’t seat and seal on the rim when it’s inflated – so we spot it before we leave and never fit a faulty tyre. This doesn’t affect your statutory rights.
