Prices: mobile tyre fitting in Shoreditch from £130 fitted, puncture repair from £80 including call-out. Emergency and 24-hour tyre help in Shoreditch

A flat, a blowout or a nail in the tyre can happen at any hour, and in Shoreditch it’s often on or near the Old Street roundabout. Our fitters work through the night, at weekends and on bank holidays, and the service is the same at 2am as at 2pm. Same-day and booked fittings are available too, if your tyre is legal but needs replacing soon.

  • Get somewhere safe first – a side road, car park or lay-by – and put your hazard lights on.
  • On a fast road, get everyone out on the side away from traffic and wait behind a barrier if there is one. If you’re in danger, call 999.
  • Don’t keep driving on a flat – it can wreck the tyre and the wheel.
  • Call 020 3633 9533 with your exact location and vehicle. Have your tyre size ready when you call: it’s on the tyre wall (e.g. 205/55 R16). Not sure? Stay with the vehicle and we’ll help you find it over the phone.
  • Make sure your locking wheel nut key is with the vehicle. Lost it? Tell us when you call – we can remove most types.

Roads and trouble spots we know in Shoreditch

Old Street roundabout (A501/A1202)

The rebuilt Old Street junction still carries heavy traffic and lots of cyclists. If a tyre goes here, carry on into a side street such as one off Great Eastern Street or Old Street, then stop.

A10 Shoreditch High Street and Kingsland Road

The A10 runs north from the City past Shoreditch High Street station and Boxpark towards Dalston. Red-route sections mean stopping is restricted – pull into a side road.

Great Eastern Street and Commercial Street

Busy links between Old Street, Liverpool Street and Whitechapel, with deliveries at all hours.

Hackney Road (A1208)

Runs east towards Cambridge Heath. Lots of our Shoreditch call-outs are on the residential streets either side of it.

A1202 Commercial Street and Bishopsgate

Links Shoreditch with Spitalfields and the City, packed with buses, taxis and deliveries.

New North Road and Pitfield Street

Residential routes north from Old Street through Hoxton towards Islington.

Where we’re called out most in Shoreditch

We’re called out to office and co-working car parks around Old Street, to delivery vans on the streets off Curtain Road, to residents’ bays in Hoxton and to private-hire drivers waiting near Shoreditch High Street and Liverpool Street.

Parking and where we can work

Shoreditch is mostly controlled parking and loading bays, and the A10 and City Road are red routes. Office basement car parks usually have room for us if the building lets us in – let reception know a tyre fitter is coming. Give us the street and nearest junction, or the car park and level.

Common breakdown spots in Shoreditch

The Old Street roundabout, rebuilt as a two-way junction, is still one of the busiest spots for tyre trouble in EC1 and N1 – buses, cyclists and very little room to stop. Shoreditch High Street and Kingsland Road (A10) are red routes with bus lanes, and kerb strikes outside the shops are common.

Great Eastern Street and Commercial Street are busy with taxis and deliveries, and the side streets around Curtain Road and Rivington Street are narrow, with loading bays. If a tyre goes on a main road, carry on slowly into a side street before stopping.

Typical tyre jobs in Shoreditch

Many Shoreditch jobs are in office and co-working car parks around Old Street and Shoreditch High Street, and in residents’ bays and estate car parks in Hoxton and Haggerston. Tell us the car park, the level and any height limit, or the street and nearest junction.

We help delivery and courier vans with a slow puncture, private-hire drivers caught out between jobs, and commuters using Old Street, Shoreditch High Street, Hoxton and Haggerston stations. Our Bethnal Green base on Cambridge Heath Road is a few minutes away.

At night, Shoreditch is busy with bars and late-night traffic, and parking is tight. Tell us the street and nearest junction, and we’ll find a safe place to work.

Real local fitters in Shoreditch, not a booking middleman

You’re calling the fitter, not a booking agent. Our own vans, our own fitters, from 4 East London bases. Our own fitters are on the road 24/7 inside our coverage area, and the call is answered by the team that comes out – so we can tell you honestly when a fitter will reach you. A Yellow Tyres-signed van turns up fully kitted – with a Snap-on tyre changer, a TIP TOP wheel balancer and a torque wrench on board – so we balance your wheels on site and tighten every wheel nut to the manufacturer’s setting, not just fit the tyre.
