What OE tyre replacement means
Many car makers approve specific tyres for their models and mark them on the sidewall – for example ★ for BMW and MINI, MO for Mercedes-Benz, AO for Audi or N0–N4 for Porsche. We replace like for like: the same brand, the same tyre model and the same OE mark as the tyres on your car.
If the exact OE tyre is on back order, we’ll offer the closest alternative carrying the same car maker’s approval mark, explain the difference and agree it with you on the phone before anything is fitted.
Staying with the tyres your manufacturer specified means there’s nothing to question if you ever need to make a warranty claim. Check your warranty terms or handbook for what applies to your car.
Prices are per tyre, fitted at your location, guide prices, call or WhatsApp to confirm today’s price.
How to find your OE mark
- Find the size on the sidewall, for example 255/40 R19 100Y.
- Look nearby for a short extra marking such as ★, MO, MO1, AO, RO1, N1, J, LR, VOL or T0 – it is often moulded in a small circle or next to the load and speed rating.
- Also note any run-flat marking (RFT, ROF, SSR, ZP, EMT, MOE, AOE) and the brand and tyre model name.
- Not sure? WhatsApp us a clear photo of the sidewall and we’ll read it for you.

OE tyre FAQs
Will fitting a non-OE tyre void my car’s warranty?
